Torchlight

New hit like diablo or s*it? Its been a long time since Diablo appeared and entrtained us. Ya, we all love this game, no matter if its first or second part. And we are all waiting for DIII, thats fact. But now appeared new game called Torchlight. It brings 35 underground levels full of monsters and nice graphics. But you will finish it within max 10 hours, which seems too short to me. And also levels of dificulty seems unbalanced. And only 3 classes. And... Am not going to play it.

Dragon Age-Origins

Only 4 dasy left before selling final version of Dragon Age, Origins. Game made by Bioware, who also created Baldurs Gate, SW Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect. Its dark mmorpg, with violence and betrayals each day. You will have group of heroes, like in Baldurs Gate, not only 1 hero, but makers promises tons of skills and abilities, so even if you make group of only one class, you cant learn all skills. Sounds really interesting, each character would be unique, not like unified builds in other games. But i think it will be a bit hard to use all characters together in harder fights. And how it all look? lets add some pictures from game. Seems beautifull, arent they?

Its been a long time

Since i wrote anything here, but it will change now. My collegue in work is young guy, playing all and watching tons of games, so i have new ideas now. About playing. Mysef am now addict to World of Warcraft, together with milions people all around the world. Its strange, but i started playing it with vision of gold and real money earn by selling gold. But when in game every day some bastard spam me with buy gold messages, that idea got lost. Am now playing only for fun (and of course, to be the best). Wana see my char? So here he goes, little dwarf paladin with big shield and nice mace :)

Work

I started working, so now will have very little time to write here again. But still playing conquer online, travian, ogame and some more games.. And still watching game scene. BTW, finally discovered why i cant play Half Life 2 on old comp.. IT was some hardware incompatibility, probably memory. On current machine (A64X2 6000+, 2*1gb ram, 8600 GK) runs from start to end without any problem. Lol, i really didnt expected that it was hardware problem, even old machine (A2500+, 2*512 ram, GF 6800) should be more than enough to run it without any problem..

Game news

Halo 3 brought extreme profit to Microsoft. During first week after releasing this game earned more than 300 000 000 dollars. And it also helped to sell much more X boxes. Must say, its really amazing, but reminds me moment, when pretty big brotherhood waited for Oblivion. And to be honest, i bought it first day after releasing, and didnt played to end till now.

Because of demand of customers, Microsoft will sell Windows xp till summer 2008. They want to stop it at January, but many customers still want it. (I also dont like Vistas, think they demand too much of system memory, and bring no advantages at all.

Because of big sucess of Apple iPhone have another manufacturer of mobile devices Palm big problems.

Electronic Arts preparing pack called Command and Conquer Saga, which should cost 50 dollars and contain 13 Command and Conquer games. Each fan already have them, but for new players this can be interesting.

Pc version of Gears of War should be ready to release at November 6th.

74 days after introducing on market Apple sold 1 milion of I phones. But Apple also came with really unfriendly "advantage" for users of their new I pods. They now allow upload any music throught I tunes software. Hope somebody will crack it soon.

AMD is preparing 3 core processors. Yes, it sounds strange, but i think it can bring very interresting solution for everybody.

It is supposed that this year will be sold 100 milions of notebooks.

Seagate wnat manufacture SSDs

Solid State Drives (or Discs) are pretty interesting. They bid high speed, high reliability and they consume much less power that classical hard drives. But they also cost much more than hard drive, because of expensive flash memories inside. Now only 1 company is manufacturing both.. Samsung. And by latest news, Seagate want to join, because this is whole new area, and can probably generate big profit in future. They are now looking for supplier of flash chips for those new drives, so they probably mean this seriously. Hope its true, because of each new technology cost much, but if its massive used price goes down.
