IBM will have fastest supercomputer and more news

IBM wish to manufacture the most powerfull supercomputer of world. It should contain 16000 AMD Opteron processors, combined with 16000 of IBM Cell chips. That sounds amazing, cell processors will probably compute, and opterons prepare data for them.

Intel is firing 10000 employees, most of them from amrketing. Ït should bring massive moneya savings.

Sony Playstation 3 will be late. At least in Europe. Sony have problems to manufacture needed numbers of machines, so they will be released probably during spring.

New games:

Silent Hunter 4 is being currently developed by Ubisoft.It will bear name Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific, should be released during next year spring. Game should contain nice graphics and also music. (Who will say their new game will look terrible, and contain no sounds?)

Warhound is being prepared by Techland team (creators of Chrome). It will be FPS, and should look nice. They dont speak about time when will be finished.

Also from Ubisoft came news that in November they should release datadisk for Heroes of Might & Magic V. It will be named Hammers of Fate, and is being deveoped by Nival Interactive.
